April is Earth Month, Take the Pledge!
Fifty-five years ago, the first Earth Day was celebrated to create public awareness about the health effects of industrial caused air and water pollution. This led to the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and legislation to protect water in the Great Lakes. The danger is that many of these protections are now threatened both in the U.S. and Canada given the current political environment. The advice is to take action to avoid repeating history.
