BEA Member Meeting

Dear reader,
We hope this email finds you well!
Earth Day is this Saturday April 22nd. The City of Brampton in collaboration with the Brampton Environmental Alliance is hosting an Earth Day Celebration at Norton Place Park from noon until 4:00pm. This is a free family friendly event including, a climate change exhibition with speakers and artwork designed to engage the community on the City's first Climate Change Adaptation Plan. Also at the event will be a Forest Walk, a Kid's Zone, a litter clean-up and a Nature Bingo with a chance to win an Ontario Parks Pass. Dr. Hopi Martin, from Edge of the Bush, will be facilitating the opening and closing sacred fire ceremony.
At 11:00am, the Brampton Environmental Alliance will be holding its bi-monthly member meeting in the Norton Place Park gazebo. Learn about our latest initiative, Graceful Aging Through Connecting with Nature. Meet some of the members of our newly formed Youth Council.
Members and non-members are both welcome to attend the meeting. Members can vote on meeting resolutions. Register here to become a BEA member either as an individual or an organization.
Remember, the Earth needs you now more than ever before. Come join us this Saturday at 11:00am.
