About the Youth Council:
Launched in April 2023, the BEA Youth Council comprises a diverse team of high school / university students that support the BEA. Responsibilities may include:
- Event planning on a grant funded community project,
- Provide youth perspective on BEA priorities, campaigns and projects,
- Design seminars and workshops on environmental topics for community education,
- Learn more about the impact of climate change
- Gain leadership/teamwork skills
- Participate in BEA campaigns, projects and events such as Brampton Earth Day.
