The Ontario Climate Emergency Campaign, (OCEC), is a non-partisan group promoting awareness on the climate crisis and environmental issues in the Province of Ontario. It’s aim is to empower citizens and urge political leaders with the power of democratic voice to drive the urgent transformational changes needed for the present and the future climate security of all Ontarians.
The last Provincial election was decided by fewer than 20% of Ontario’s eligible voters. That’s not democracy, that’s indifference. With an Ontario election looming, we all need to understand the critical issues affecting us. Your vote in the upcoming election could dramatically impact your cost of living, and your access to health services, affordable housing, insurance, food, and more?
The OCEC is planning a virtual non-partisan Town Hall for February 13th from 7:00-8:30pm designed to help you make informed choices. Hear key policy records of each party and an expert panelists’ discussion of the real-life impacts of those policies on you and your loved ones. The session will be interactive. You can ask the panelists your questions during the Q+A at the end of the session.
