According to the organizer, Noura Bacon, “the feedback from the evening was spectacular”! The school is hoping to grow connections with community organizations to create lasting partnerships where students feel more connected to their school and community. Ghazanfar and Noura are continuing collaboration discussions on creating a pollinator garden on school property starting next spring. Receiving a thankyou note is always nice.

On October 9th, Yarim, Gunjan, and Aneet participated in an Open House event at Springbrook Public School. Students were encouraged to use plant-based dyes to create postcards with an environmental theme.

Finally, students and their parents were told about plant-based eating and using One-Planet principles to learn to live within the earth’s planetary boundaries.
